Trip Report: Honduras Mission with Life Givers Ministries February 18- March 3, 2013:
We had an incredible time in Honduras! God was divinely showing up before we even arrived in the country. Even a church in China gave a wonderful offering to support our trip. They wanted to sow so that missionaries could come to Honduras like missionaries had come to them in China. What a wonderful image of the body of Christ!
Favor surrounded us as we were getting many bags of medicines to Honduras. We did not have to pay the full cost to get the bags there and we got through the airports without much trouble. Several of our team brought medicines and eyeglasses that were donated for the trip. The Lord provided more than enough. We gave vitamins, medicines and care to almost 900 people, praying for them throughout the day!
Healing came in all sorts of ways. Physical healing came as we met needs through our medical brigades. We saw spiritual healing as God led people in deep places of intercession. We saw emotional healing as our doctors and nurses prayed for more than just physical needs. Deliverance came, destinies were revealed and the love of God was poured out over His children.
Some of the most powerful ministry occurred as we spent time with the students that we brought to our brigades from the national university in San Pedro Sula. Several of the students were not saved before the trip. However, they saw how God came in power and were excited as God showed up over and over and divinely orchestrated our steps. Seeds were planted and several made commitments to the Lord! They wanted to work with God too!
We had two pastors and leaders gatherings. The Lord showed up with His holy presence both times. We taught on many topics including worship, resting in His presence, and being the leaders God has called us to be. In both gatherings the Lord did a great work in those pastors through prophecy, healing, and spiritual renewal.
These are just a few stories of our incredible journey with the Lord in Honduras. If you would like to hear more, just ask!
